Mum with BuggyBuggy Babes: We meet at the children’s centre and go for a brisk walk.  After the walk there will be a postnatal advice session with the local Health Visitor and a chance to enjoy a cuppa and chat to the other new Mum’s. You must have passed your 6 week postnatal check to attend this group. This group is for Mum’s and their babies up to 6 months old.

Information, Advice and Guidance: This drop in session is for any query you may have; money matters, returning to work, adult education and training, healthy living, family life, child care options, special needs. We will support you or signpost you to other organisations and professionals if you would like. There is no query too small!

  • I can’t get my child in to a bedtime routine. Help.
  • I’ve heard I may be entitled to help with child care costs, can you tell me more?
  • I want to give up smoking but don’t know where to start.
  • I want to return to work after 6 years off, are there any refresher courses I could do?

Tatty Bumpkin: Tatty Bumpkin sessions are multi-sensory, movement classes, inspired by yoga.

The multi-sensory approach involves the stimulation of several senses to aid learning. e.g. Stimulating hearing, sight and touch senses to explain a theme. The reasoning behind this approach is that we all learn in different ways; some of us learn by looking at things, some learn by doing and others learn through listening. By using a multi- sensory approach, Tatty Bumpkin classes appeal to every child whatever kind of learner they are.

In each session, you and your child are taken on a magical journey with Tatty Bumpkin.

Starting snuggled up on Wobble Farm, Tatty Bumpkin wakes up, has her breakfast and then embarks on an adventure with her animal friends through the enchanted ‘Giggle Tree’…..

During the session you and your child will explore different movements and yoga positions, engage in a story, do actions to songs, and have the opportunity to feel and play with props and materials designed to bring the world of Tatty Bumpkin to life.

You and your child’s imagination will be stimulated in a creative and fun way. The class is inclusive and non-competitive and ideal for all the family.

Father and kid in grassDaddy and Me: This group is especially for any male carer and their child. Uncles can bring nieces or nephews, Step fathers can bring step children, Grandads can bring Grandchildren, the list is endless! There are activities for children and a chance for Dad’s to spend a bit of quality time with them. Dad’s are also fed and watered!

Grandparents Group:  Come along with your Grandchildren, do lots of fun activties and meet other Grandparents too!  Enjoy some light refreshments and find out what else is on offer in and around Cranleigh for you to keep the little ones entertained!
