The Sure Start Children’s Centre is here for Children from birth to five years and for their families too. The aim of all Children’s Centre’s is to ensure that all children have the best possible start in life and to support their carers in achieving this.
We provide a range of services to support the community, all of which you can find out about on this website. Here at Cranleigh, we will signpost to other services, making the best possible use of all things available to children and their families within our area. Some of our services are held at the children’s centre and others are held in various venues within our area.

Let us help
On top of this, we can also assist with returning to work, carrying out home visits, child care availability and options within the local area. All of our events are free or heavily subsidised, so come along and see what the Sure Start Children’s Centre can do for you and your family.

Play and Learn
Have a go at messy activities, get ideas of things to do at home and support your child as they learn through play. Ideal for all ages 0-5 years,
Daddy and Me
This group is ideal for Dad's who would like to spend more quality time with their kids or perhaps get stuck for what to do on a Saturday moming
Buggy Babes
Buggy Babes is a free group for New Mums and their Babies up to approximately 6 months.
The First Friday
If you're a lone parent come along to the Sure Start Children's Centre between 10-11.30am on the first friday of every month. Meet other lone parents & enjoy activities with your children
