Helping children and their families

Christopher Robin Sure Start Children’s Centre is here to support young children (birth to five years) and their families living in Cranleigh and the nearby villages (Ewhurst, Alfold, Chiddingfold, Dunsfold, Shamley Green, Wonersh, Ellens Green). Our aim is to offer support to parents and young children so that everyone can benefit positively.

We offer a range of services and guidance to meet the needs of the families in our community; you can find out about some of them on this website. Here at Cranleigh we run some services and activities ourselves and we can also tell you about the many other support services and regular family activities that are available for young children and their families in Cranleigh and the surrounding villages. Some of our services are held at the children’s centre and others are held in various places within our area.

Support for families

Let us help

On top of this, we can also assist with returning to work and child care availability and options within the local area. We can offer support on any concerns you may have about your young family; we're not just here for the children but their families and carers too. All of our events are free or heavily subsidised, so come along and see what Christopher Robin Sure Start Children’s Centre can do for you and your family.

We are YOUR Children’s Centre and the services we run are based YOUR needs. So tell us if you think our area is missing a particular support service and keep us up to date on how we can support you.

Play and Learn

Come along to our free session every other Monday between 1.30 - 2.30pm, at Cranleigh Baptist Church Rooms, High Street, Cranleigh. Have a go at messy actvities and get ideas for things to do at home.

Daddy and Me

Enjoy a tasty treat and a cup of tea with us and spend some quality time with your little ones.

The session runs between10am-12pm in Cranleigh- 12^th May, 16^th June, 28^th July

Buggy Babes

Buggy Babes is a free group for New Mums and their Babies up to approximately 6 months. Every Tuesday at 1.30pm.

Bumps Brunch

Expectant Mummies join us for lunch and a chat – Fri 25^th May, Thurs 21^st June and Fri 20^th July
