Christopher Robin Sure Start Children’s Centre is here to support young children (from pregnancy through to five years) and their families living in Cranleigh and the nearby villages (Ewhurst, Alfold, Chiddingfold, Dunsfold, Shamley Green, Wonersh, Ellens Green). Our aim is to offer support to parents and young children so that everyone can benefit positively.
We offer a range of services and activities to meet the needs of the families in our community. We take our services out and about in the local area, running sessions at community venues & visiting local health clinics and toddler groups. If there is a service that your family require, we can also signpost you in the right direction. Our universal services are open to all families living in our reach area and we aim to offer a warm and welcoming environment for all to enjoy!
Christmas and New Year Opening Times:
The Children’s Centre will close at 4pm on Monday 22nd December and re-open on Friday 2nd January 2015. We will respond to phone messages and emails when we return. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
We can give support for families in times of need and help you get back on track. This can happen through targetted groups, Outreach Visits and directing you towards specialist support. We work closely with local Health Visitors, Preschools/ Nurseries and Social Services.
We are YOUR Children’s Centre and the services we run are based YOUR needs. So tell us if you think our area is missing a particular support service and keep us up to date on how we can help you.
At Cranleigh, we want to help you to make the most of everything that is available for children and their families within our area.
We look forward to meeting you and your family
All the team at the Christopher Robin Sure Start Children’s Centre
The Christopher Robin Sure Start Children’s Centre offers a welcoming and non-judgemental environment, where every child aged 0-4 can be happy and supported to achieve their full potential.
We work in partnership with parents and other child centred agencies to offer high quality services to the local community. These services are in line with the Governments core purpose for Children’s Centres to improve outcomes for young children and their families with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged families in order to reduce inequalities in:
- Child development and school readiness.
- Parenting aspirations and parenting skills.
- Child and family health and life chances.
